For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to be in birth work. When I was a kid, I thought that meant as an OB/GYN. As a teenager, I thought I would be a nurse. It wasn’t until I left home and joined the military, that I found out what a doula was. That is where I found my community. I have been a doula since February 2023 and I wish it could have happened sooner! I aspire to be a midwife in the near future and ultimately own and operate a birthing center. That’s whats in my 10-20 year plan.

I would call it PASSION. I love everything about the female body and reproductive system. I have a gift of being able to connect with people on many levels and I bring that to my doula work through comforting, caring, and nurturing my clients. I want the families in my community to be educated in their decision making, comfortable with their choices, and have the opportunity to release the fears they carry. Being able to work with parents that I have been connected with has truly been a dream come true. I thank them for allowing me to be apart of such a intimate and personal journey in their lives. I hope who ever reads this can give me the opportunity to support them as well.
